HFMD

It is a common case for children to catch HFMD virus from childcare - this is more frequent if the school is air-conditioned. I am actually quite prepared that my girl will catch this virus one day but when she caught the virus 2 weeks ago, it was devastating as her mouth is full of ulcer, the only symptom she has, which made her refuse to take any solid or liquid. But out of my surprise, within 2 days or so, she can eat and drink well & by the third day, she no longer complaint about her mouth being pained. At first, all of us thought that she might be heaty that caused her mouth to be full of ulcer until my husband was certified that he had HFMD - it must be spread to him when he took care of my girl on the second day after she was ill. It took my husband about 10 days to recover.

 I questioned myself: Why my girl recovered so fast while it took my husband so long? One of the possibility is that I give my girl E. Excel products almost everyday prior to her illness that have eventually built her immunity and also might be the reason why she only has one symptom - the body is fighting the virus and subside before the rest of the symptom appears. However, my husband who is unwilling to take the products, has lower immunity that prolong the "fighting" process.
